LIE: What does it take to be a stand out player?

MM: I feel there are a few things that make a standout lacrosse player. One would be a good work ethic. Athletes often need to divide their time between lacrosse, school, and family/friends. Having a good work ethic helps balance your life. Most important;y, when you are at practice you need to work hard to get the results you want. I also feel having a good attitude and sportsmanship makes a standout lacrosse player. It is important to represent yourself and your team in a positive way.

LIE: How has your time being a member of LI Empire elevated or enhanced your game?

MM: Being a member of LI Empire has definitely enhanced my game. The number one thing would be my coaches. They can be tough but fair. Everyone is involved in the drills, everyone is moving and engaged the whole time. We are always learning. I also feel being on a team with standout players helps you strive to be better.
