LIE: Remember back to when you first started playing… What advice would you give that little girl?

SC: I would tell her to just have fun in the way you play and to be creative. I would also tell her to work on her non-dominant hand.

LIE: How has your time being a member of LI Empire elevated or enhanced your game?

SC: Being a member of LI empire has taught me how to play a higher level of lacrosse and how to be devoted to a team. The higher competition has also pushed me to get better with every aspect of my playing.  

LIE: What is the first thing you are going to do post quarantine?

SC: The first thing I am going to do post quarantine is get on a field and shoot around with my teammates.

LIE: Remember back to when you first started playing… What advice would you give that little girl?

AG: To not blame yourself for every single goal and not get upset over it

LIE: How has your time being a member of LI Empire elevated or enhanced your game?

AG: My time at empire has elevated or enhanced my game because Empire is such a good environment for a player there’s no anger everyone gets along and the coach(es) are great and everything they say helps it’s all constructive

LIE: What is the first thing you are going to do post quarantine?

AG: The first thing I’m going to do post quarantine is hopefully Go to the beach, throw the ball around and see my friends

LIE: Remember back to when you first started playing… What advice would you give that little girl?

BM: The advice that I followed when I was a little girl and still follow today is “don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t.” 

LIE: How has your time being a member of LI Empire elevated or enhanced your game?

BM: Being a member of LI Empire has allowed me to play with some of the most talented and skilled players on Long Island. The commitment of the coaches and the players on this team has made me a better player and teammate. 

LIE: What is the first thing you are going to do post quarantine?

BM: The first thing i’m going to do when quarantine ends is get my braces off, which was supposed to happen in March :(. Have dinner at my fav sushi restaurant. Then get back on the field with my Empire girls.

LIE: Remember back to when you first started playing… What advice would you give that little girl?

CC: I started playing lacrosse at the age of 10 and I instantly fell in love with the sport. The advice that I would give a little girl is to work hard early because the results will eventually pay off in the future. 

LIE: How has your time being a member of LI Empire elevated or enhanced your game?

CC: I’m so grateful to be apart of the Empire Lacrosse family. I’ve met many of my best friends throughout the 4 years of being apart of the organization. I’ve been able to experience playing with the best coaches and teammates I could ask for.

LIE: What is the first thing you are going to do post quarantine?

CC: After quarantine the first thing I will do is get back to playing lacrosse with my friends on the field.

LIE: Remember back to when you first started playing… What advice would you give that little girl?

GL: Hard work pays off and the best girls are the ones who practice in any weather and at any time of the day.

LIE: How has your time being a member of LI Empire elevated or enhanced your game?

GL: My time on Empire with Coach Tetro has helped to boost my confidence, which has allowed me to really come out of my shell and be the best player I can be. Playing for Empire and Coach Tetro has helped me to really learn and love the game, that I could not live without.

LIE: What is the first thing you are going to do post quarantine?

GL: The first thing I am going to do after quarantine is hug all of my friends and teammates.

LIE: Remember back to when you first started playing… What advice would you give that little girl?

KO: I started playing lacrosse in second grade and knew i would love the game from then on. The advice i would give that little girl would be to always try your hardest at anything you do and be positive. 

LIE: How has your time being a member of LI Empire elevated or enhanced your game?

KO: Empire lacrosse has taught me so many lessons and for that i’m grateful. i’m thankful for this program because i have been apart of it for 4 years now and am so happy for making friendships with some of the best friends anyone can ask for. My coaches and teammates have helped me improve my game so much more. 

LIE: What is the first thing you are going to do post quarantine?

KO: The first thing i am going to do post quarantine is to hang out with my friends and family and to go back to playing lacrosse with my best friends.

LIE: Remember back to when you first started playing… What advice would you give that little girl?

MC: I would tell that little girl to take risks, enjoy your time playing and have fun.

LIE: How has your time being a member of LI Empire elevated or enhanced your game?

MC: Being on the Empire team has help me recognize the importance of being on a team that’s like a family. Coach Tetro has always pushed me to be a better version of myself on and off the field.

LIE: What is the first thing you are going to do post quarantine?

MC: When this quarantine is over the first thing I want to do is get back on the field with my friends and my teammates and enjoy every moment on the field.

LIE: Remember back to when you first started playing… What advice would you give that little girl?

PT: Be more aggressive and have more confidence. 

LIE: How has your time being a member of LI Empire elevated or enhanced your game?

PT: It has given me more confidence and control in my stick skills and it has helped me improve my game immensely. 

LIE: What is the first thing you are going to do post quarantine?

PT: The first thing i’m going to do after quarantine is go to the local turf field and run some drills with my teammates.

LIE: Remember back to when you first started playing… What advice would you give that little girl?

SM: I have played lacrosse for most of my life and one thing I would tell a little girl is always work hard and try your best. The results you achieve will be worth it. 

LIE: How has your time being a member of LI Empire elevated or enhanced your game?

SM: This is my 3rd year on Empire and it feels like we are a family. I have gained so many of my best friends from this team and bonded with a lot of new people. My coaches have pushed me to get better which I definitely have. Empire lacrosse has brought me many relationships along with valuable lessons. 

LIE: What is the first thing you are going to do post quarantine?

SM: After quarantine I will spend time with my family and friends along with getting back on the field with my team.

LIE: Remember back to when you first started playing… What advice would you give that little girl?

JN: My advice to my younger self would be to have more confidence in my abilities. 

LIE: How has your time being a member of LI Empire elevated or enhanced your game?

JN: Being a new member of LI Empire this year has enhanced my ability to work as a team with new players and challenge myself to be comfortable in unfamiliar settings.

LIE: What is the first thing you are going to do post quarantine?

JN: First thing I will do post-quarantine is to get together with my friends and go to the beach!
